The 925Plan is a flexible and practical career coaching experience designed to help emerging professionals navigate their career paths with confidence. Whether you're exploring internships, searching for a job, or building a professional network, we provide expert guidance to help you succeed.

How does the 925Plan work?

​

1. Schedule your first complimentary session through our online booking system. There is no obligation to commit to the three 30-minute sessions if you’re not ready to start.

 

2. After the complimentary session, you’ll work with your advisor to schedule your three 30-minute sessions and create an agenda for topics to cover in each session. This is the start of your 925Plan.

 

Who are the "early investors"?

 

An early investor is anyone who receives or purchases a 925Plan Gift Card to invest in their career growth early on, giving them a head start in the professional world.

I received a 925Plan Gift Card, but I’m not ready to think about my career.

What should I do?

​

No problem! Just schedule a complimentary session—it’s only 20 minutes, and there’s no prep work required. If you’re not ready to dive in, you can use the session to ask questions or get general career insights. When you are ready, we’ll customize your plan based on your goals and timeline.

Can I use the 925 Plan if I’m not in college?

Yes! The 925Plan is for anyone up to age 25—whether you’re in college, taking a gap year, or starting your career without a degree.

 

Can I split my sessions over several months?

 

Yes! You control the pace of your sessions, whether you want to spread them out over time or complete them in a shorter period.

Can I check in on the progress of a student I gifted the 925Plan to?

Coaching sessions are confidential to ensure a safe space for career exploration. However, if the student approves, we offer an optional 925Plan + Parent Report for an additional $99 charge. This report provides high-level insights into their progress and key takeaways from the sessions—without compromising their privacy. You can also encourage the recipient to share their own experiences directly with you.

 

Can I buy a gift card for a younger student?

Yes! The gift card is valid for five years, so a high school student can redeem it later when they’re ready.

 

How can I encourage a student to use their sessions?

​

Many students don’t realize how valuable coaching is until they try it! Encourage them to schedule their complimentary session—no prep required, just a casual conversation to explore options and answer ANY question they may have.

What is the role of a 925Plan coach?

 

Your 925Plan Coach is a 925 Plan-certified professional who will:

 

✔ Help you assess your career goals, skills, and interests

✔ Guide you through career exploration, internships, networking, and job search strategies

✔ Provide expert advice curated to where you are in your journey

 

All 925Plan coaches have experience working with students and bring real-world professional expertise from various industries. If a student requires guidance in a specific field, the 925Plan will identify and recruit an advisor who best aligns with their career interests. Meet our coaches here.

 

Can I request a specific coach?

While we assign coaches based on availability and expertise, you can request one with a background in your field of interest, and we’ll do our best to match you. We also have mentors who volunteer from our Employer network who can provide industry and market insight.

 

Can I work with multiple coaches?

Yes! If your career interests evolve, we can match you with another coach for specialized guidance.

Is there a limit to how many gift cards I can buy?
